…SAN FRANCISCO FINALS. It’s about to go down in a major way for The City Slam. Who will represent San Francisco at the National Poetry Slam 2011? You decide!
Judges chosen from the audience! OUR HATS ARE OFF to Jaylee Alde for his dynamic feature set last month. Congrats to Perez for takin the win home! We look forward to the sultry sounds of Billy Tuggle, a special gift of performance in honor of our Mothers on Mothers Day.
—-MAY 8TH FINALS NIGHT, OUR TOP POETS will battle it out to see who the final 4 will be and I can’t wait to see the fallout. Any poet who has I’m pleased with our prospects and know that the HARD CORE BATTLE WILL BE AMAZING! That’s right friends, the SF Finals will be 2 rounds AND A LIGHTENING ELIMINATION of glory! We will also be giving out AWARDS to poets and SF slam friends. Again, there will be FREE CREOLE COOKIN & our Monthly Writing Workshop Facilitated By Chicago’s Finest: Billy & Andi Tuggle 6:00p-6:45p (donations requested)!
